Salary: Unpaid (travel expenses covered) for 3 months (with fully paid position offered on successful completion of the internship)

Who we are looking for: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic business development assistant with a strong mind for social media marketing to join our fast-paced marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about social media and digital marketing to receive expert and formal training as well as properly contribute to the growth of the company, and make a real difference in our client’s marketing strategies. A key responsibility will be to manage and onboard additional client’s to our roster.
Role Overview: As a social media marketing and business development intern, you will work closely with the marketing director and other team members to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our client's goals, and focus on developing the business of the company. You will also complete formal training in social media marketing. You will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and monitoring content on various social media platforms, analysing performance, and have a strong responsibility of acquiring new clients into the company (15% commision to be earned on every client onboarded, once passing the probation period).
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Create visually appealing and engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, and videos..
- Client acquisition: actively search and generate potential clients leads, with a minimum rate of onboarding one new client per month.
- Research industry trends and use their insights to identify business opportunities in new and existing markets.
- Audience Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments, and foster a sense of community within the social media channels.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns and promotions to achieve company objectives.
- Attend business events to learn more about the marketing industry and network with other professionals and potential clients
- Monitoring and Analytics: Regularly track social media performance using analytics tools, identify key metrics, and provide insights to improve strategies.
-Manage the business and digital document filing
- Report Generation: Prepare regular reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Community Management: Monitor and manage online reputation, respond to reviews, and address customer inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong proficiency in video editing and/or content creation
Proven experience in managing social media platforms, either through previous internships, coursework, or personal projects.
Proficiency or ability to learn quickly on social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Creative thinking and an eye for design to create engaging content.
Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and online advertising is a plus.
Knowledge of industry-specific trends and target audience behaviours.
